We paid tribute to influential British musicians with photorealistic murals across London, Manchester, and Glasgow, as part of Converse’s Connectivity campaign.
Laced up in chucks, the depicted musicians included Blur’s Graham Coxon, Hot Chips’s Alexis Taylor, Paloma Faith, and Bernard Sumner. Unlike the artists’ varying genres and generations, their Converse remained unchanged.
Converse gave us one of the biggest tests of 2010 with the challenge of hand painting 30+ walls, while pasting up another 80+ smaller areas in 12+ UK cities. The High Rise/Monorex team had never executed a campaign as large and as quick as this before, so new structures and logistical plans had to be developed to accommodate this problem.
